Welcome to Knollmead Primary School

We have the highest aspirations for all at Knollmead by being ambitious, inclusive and resilient and we strive for our children to be the same. We are very proud of the learning that takes place here, in particular consistently achieving progress above the national average. Our more able pupils also flourish at Knollmead, with 53% of children in the mainstream part of the school achieving the higher standard in reading in 2024 (compared to 29% of children nationally), and 53% of children in the mainstream part of the school achieving the higher standard in maths in 2024 (compared to 24% of children nationally).

Last half term, our whole school took part in an exciting #ScienceWeek , exploring the theme of curiosity. Pupils across all year groups got involved in different in class activities and entered a competition inspired by asking questions, investigating ideas, and thinking like real scientists. A huge well done to our 4 winners who stood out with their fantastic efforts, creativity, and curiosity!
Year 4 are feeling fishy! They have created some fabulous fish sculptures from papier mache which are now on display in their "aquarium" in reception - come and have a look next time you are in school. #KMYr4 #feelingfishy
