Welcome to Knollmead Primary School

We have the highest aspirations for all at Knollmead by being ambitious, inclusive and resilient and we strive for our children to be the same. We are very proud of the learning that takes place here, in particular consistently achieving progress above the national average. Our more able pupils also flourish at Knollmead, with 53% of children in the mainstream part of the school achieving the higher standard in reading in 2024 (compared to 29% of children nationally), and 53% of children in the mainstream part of the school achieving the higher standard in maths in 2024 (compared to 24% of children nationally).

We are on the lookout for awesome parent helpers to assist with the school fair. Whether you can pitch in for a little or a lot, every helping hand makes a huge difference! From setting up stalls to keeping the fun rolling, there's plenty to get involved with. This will be a big fundraiser for the school and we can't do it without you, so if you can help please contact the school office.
On Thursday 5th June Knollmead was visited by our local MP, Sir Ed Davey. During the visit he had a tour of the school and also met with our school council. He talked to them about how he wanted to be an author when he was a little boy and was bought a typewriter. When pupils asked about local issues he told them about the work happening at Tolworth Court Farm and how the Liberal Democratic Council are trying to make it more accessible as many people don't know it is there.

Today we learnt about #VEDay in assembly and during our lessons, and in the afternoon we celebrated on the field with traditional games and a cake. Congratulations to the winners of the cake topper competition.
